Milky Elephant 12-Postcard Set by Eun-Ha Paek

$8.00

Originally conceived as a calendar, this postcard book has 12 postcards that span the seasons and time and dimensions including a walking apple slice. The postcards are perforated so that when you want to send one, you can tear it out and mail it to a friend. We made it so that there is no mention of 2008 or the calendar aspect on the postcards themselves so it really can stand alone as a set of 12 amazing postcards. Reduce and Reuse is our motto (Hey, even your mom is green now-a-days)! So many calendars are produced every year that people never use after its intended year is over so we wanted with this Milky Elephant calendar (and pretty much all of our calendars) to have a dual function that never expires. On top of that, you save 50% off the retail price! That’s less than 75 cents a postcard!

We’ve known Eun-Ha since her days at RISD and loved the collective she formed with Karl and Mumbleboy known as Milky Elephant. One of the highlights we always looked forward to was her annual take on the Milky Elephant calendar, but she’s been so busy that she hasn’t made one in a couple years. Rather than be deprived of such a treat, we asked her if we could help make it happen, and lo and behold, we have one of our coolest calendars yet!

The concept is a postcard of the month calendar so after each month is over, you have a new postcard to send to a friend or just collect for yourself. Each monthly page features the dates with highlighted US government holidays and a notes section above a tear-off 4” x 6” full-color original postcard. We’ve designed the calendar so you can hang it on your wall, but you can keep it as a book or tear out the months to display as you wish. In any case, it serves as a reminder to enjoy life as you go through your year and to keep in touch!

The calendar is printed with vegetable-based inks on 100% post-consumer recycled paper by our friends at Favorite Printing in Hayward, CA. It measures 6” x 6” with 12 months. Limited edition of 2000.
