Lilli's debut graphic novel is the beautifully drawn, gothic and strange <I>The Lagoon</I>. From its dark blue matte hardcover binding to its black (literally) ending, the book explores the dark in many senses. But it's not all menace--there is a very lyrical quality to the work and her flowing, bending lines masterfully create an atmosphere that emanates from the page.
